Josh Willander

Carpenter’s Apprentice

Josh Willander joined The Valle Group as a Carpenter’s Apprentice in late 2021. Born and raised in Mashpee,  Josh is a graduate of Mashpee High School’s class of 2020. After high school, Josh studied Fire Sciences at Southern Maine Community College where he took part in the Public Safety Live-In Program where students opt to live full time in a Fire House rather than a dorm. He earned his Firefighter Certification and Emergency Vehicle Operation and Controls Certificate and spent a year and half as Firefighter on a small town Fire Department.

Josh returned to the Cape to pursue a career in construction and soon earned a spot on The Valle Group team supporting our in-house carpenters on various job sites. Josh reports that he loves the work and feels that Carpentry is the perfect career path for him.

An avid swimmer, Josh spent 12 years as a member of the Cape Cod Swim Club where he competed in the 100 Meter Fly on a regional level.
