The challenge for this homeowner was the small size of their lot and the town’s restrictive zoning requirements.

Working closely with the architect, we were able to deliver a final product that more than met the client’s square footage needs while remaining within the foundation footprint of the small cottage that had originally stood on the property.

By building up instead of out, with 3 living levels, high vaulted ceilings, large banks of windows and a room above the garage, we were able to maximize space and give this compact home a very spacious feel.
